The Grattamacco Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2022 – Limited Edition 40th Anniversary celebrates one of Bolgheri’s most iconic wines and a historic milestone for the estate. Produced from hillside vineyards in Castagneto Carducci, among the highest and most prestigious sites within the appellation, it represents the perfect expression of elegance, structure, and territorial identity.
Crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sangiovese, the latter being a distinctive hallmark of the Grattamacco style, this wine fully expresses the complexity of a unique terroir shaped by the influence of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the freshness of the Tuscan hills.
In the glass, it displays a deep, intense ruby-red color. The bouquet is refined and complex, offering aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, ripe cherry, and plum, complemented by elegant notes of Mediterranean herbs, aromatic botanicals, tobacco, cocoa, graphite, and sweet spices.
