Produced by the prestigious Castello di Ama estate, located near Gaiole in Chianti, in the province of Siena, it offers a sophisticated interpretation of Tuscan rosé, combining freshness, elegance and a strong sense of place.
In the glass, it displays a delicate, luminous pale pink colour. The bouquet is refined and fragrant, revealing enticing aromas of red berries, wild strawberries, cherries and pomegranate, complemented by subtle floral nuances and fresh citrus notes.
On the palate, it is fresh, harmonious and pleasantly savoury, with excellent balance and vibrant acidity providing energy and remarkable drinkability. Elegant and smooth, it finishes with delicate fruit-driven notes and a lingering, refined persistence.
Exceptionally versatile, Purple Rose 2024 is an excellent choice as an aperitif and pairs beautifully with appetisers, delicate cured meats, fish dishes, shellfish, sushi, light pasta and risotto dishes, white meats and Mediterranean cuisine. Best served chilled at approximately 10–12°C (50–54°F).
