Prosciutto di Cinta Senese DOP (offered in pieces or slices) represents the ultimate expression of Tuscan pork butchery, made from the hind limbs of the prized ancient breed.

Main Features

  • Meat: Distinguished by strong marbling (veins of intramuscular fat), which makes the slice soft and juicy despite the long aging.

  • Taste: Extremely intense and complex, with notes reminiscent of dried fruit and underbrush, the result of feeding the pig in the wild.

  • Fat: The fat part is pinkish-white, rich in oleic acid and ready to melt on the palate, balancing the savoriness of the meat.

  • Maturing: Generally very prolonged (often over 18-24 months) to allow the aromas to fully develop.
