The Barolo DOCG Massolino 2021 is one of the most authentic and prestigious expressions of Nebbiolo from Serralunga d’Alba. Crafted from a selection of the winery’s finest estate vineyards, it perfectly embodies the elegance, structure, and remarkable longevity that have established Massolino as one of the benchmark producers in the Langhe region. Traditional aging for approximately 30 months in large Slavonian oak casks preserves the purity of the fruit while enhancing the wine’s distinctive sense of place and terroir.

In the glass, it displays a brilliant garnet-red color. The bouquet is intense and refined, revealing aromas of dried rose petals, violet, ripe cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberries, layered with elegant notes of licorice, sweet tobacco, delicate spices, and subtle balsamic nuances. Hints of graphite, blood orange, and menthol add further depth and complexity.

On the palate, it is broad, profound, and beautifully balanced, supported by noble, finely integrated tannins, vibrant acidity, and a pronounced mineral character that leads to a long, persistent, and exceptionally elegant finish.
