Pievasciata Pinot Noir by Vallepicciola is one of Tuscany’s most captivating expressions of this noble international grape variety. Produced from vineyards located in Pievasciata, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area near Siena, it originates from a unique terroir characterized by high elevations, significant day-to-night temperature variations, and mineral-rich soils that enhance elegance, freshness, and aromatic complexity.

Bright ruby red in color, it opens with intense aromas of wild strawberries, fresh cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate, enriched by delicate floral notes of violet and dried rose, followed by subtle hints of spice and light balsamic nuances. On the palate, it is refined, harmonious, and silky, with velvety tannins, vibrant freshness, and a long, persistent finish that recalls red berries and sweet spices.

Aging in French oak barriques adds complexity without overshadowing the varietal’s natural finesse, resulting in a wine that is elegant, balanced, and exceptionally enjoyable.

An ideal match for selected cured meats, delicate meat-based pasta dishes, white meats, duck, roasted dishes, and medium-aged cheeses.
