TheArgiano Brunello di Montalcino 2020 is a wine that comes to market with a heavy legacy: the 2018 vintage of this same label was voted “Wine of the Year” by Wine Spectator. The 2020 confirms itself at a very high level, staking everything on a masterful balance and a great drinkability. The 2020 vintage has convinced leading international experts:

- Argiano follows a philosophy of sustainability (organic farming). For the 2020 Brunello, the wine matured about 30 months in Slavonian oak barrels of different sizes, a traditional method that preserves the purity of the fruit without overpowering it with excessive woody notes. Although Brunello usually requires many years of waiting, Argiano’s 2020 already shows itself to be quite “open” and enjoyable. It is perfect with a green pepper filet or aged cheeses such as Pecorino di Pienza.
