Description
The Pruneti Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2020 represents the finest expression of the estate’s Sangiovese. Produced from a careful selection of the best grapes grown in the vineyards of Radda in Chianti, it undergoes extended aging before release, developing remarkable complexity, elegance, and depth.
In the glass, it displays an intense ruby-red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet is rich and complex, offering aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, dried violet, and wild red berries, complemented by notes of sweet spices, tobacco, leather, and delicate balsamic nuances. On the palate, it is structured and harmonious, with silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, persistent finish featuring hints of red fruit, licorice, and spice. The excellent 2020 vintage produced wines of outstanding balance, concentration, and aging potential.
